Hair-Raising Puns

A recent conversation about puns in business names led to the conclusion that hairdressers are the most prone to advertorial punning. It seems that no-one is interested in naming their salon Jan’s Cut and Blow Dry when they could be calling it one of the following:hairmachine

  • Curl-Up and Dye
  • Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow
  • Cutting Loose
  • The Brady Scrunch
  • Hair and There
  • Headz Up
  • Hair-A-Fair
  • Just Teezn
  • Ahead of Style
  • Cut and Dryed
  • Hair We Are
  • True Colours
  • Talking Heads
  • Cutz Above the Rest

Wow, thanks for the recognition. The Brady Scrunch has retro decor so you feel like your having your hair cut in The Brady Bunch lounge room. I often receive comments, “This is like the house I grew up in” (usually people over 40). The decor came before the name which was a stroke of genius from my partner Gary! I wish to extend an offer to your readers; mention your blog/website & receive 30% off their first visit. Offer may end without notice.
